Local I/O Expansion Module for Productivity3000

The P3-EX high-performance expansion module provides local I/O expansion to a CPU or Remote I/O.

The system can have up to 68 expansion bases by adding four expansion bases at the CPU base and four expansion bases per Remote I/O Slave (up to 16 slaves).
Each expansion base uses the P3-EX expansion module for USB-based I/O bus connectivity.

P3-EX Specifics:

  • Installs in the CPU slot of each expansion base and connects to the CPU, remote slave or previous expansion base with the P3-EX-CBL6 cable (included)
  • Maximum of 4 P3-EX bases per local or remote base group

Note: One P3-EX-CBL6 (1.8m) supplied with each P3-EX. This is the only cable that should be used to connect the Expansion bases.
