The P1AM-SERIAL is an industrial-rated serial communications shield that provides an interface with serial networks/devices. It is housed in an Arduino MKR form factor and connects to the left side of P1AM CPUs.

- Supports RS-232 and RS-485 configurations, selectable in program
- Communicates using Modbus RTU, ASCII, or any serial protocol configured in the CPU
